Is there a vacant room in your shared apartment? Now you have a chance to have a say in who moves into the room. You can look for a new roommate using the KämppisFinder mobile app.

KämppisFinder is a new, free app currently being tested in the Kuopio area. The app is especially designed for students who are looking for a suitable roommate for shared living.

How KämppisFinder works

1. Download the KämppisFinder app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Create your own profile in the app.
3. Start looking for roommates and send contact requests to applicants you are interested in.
4. Start chatting with potential roommates.
5. Once you find a suitable roommate, agree on shared rules to make everyday life run smoothly.
6. After that, the roommate you have found can submit an application for the vacant room on the Kuopas website.

Remember to mention “KämppisFinder” in the application

When the roommate candidate submits an application through Kuopas’ housing application service, they must mention “KämppisFinder” in the application. This helps us identify the applicant during the selection process.
